Day 1: Transfer to Akagera National Park.

Enjoy breakfast at your Kigali hotel, then meet our guide, board our safari 4WD, and go to Akagera National Park with a lunch stop and stops at a few cultural sites along the way.

After that, go on an evening game drive in the park to see some of the African wildlife, including lions, elephants, buffalo, giraffes, leopards, warthogs, and water and bush bucks, among other animals. Dinner and overnight stay at Ruzizi Safari Camp or Akagera Game Lodge. Lunch schedule: H/B

Day 2: Wildlife Viewing & Boat Ride.

After eating breakfast, go on a sunrise game drive to look for African wildlife such as lions, buffaloes, elephants, giraffes, leopards, and water and bush bucks, among other species. After lunch, take a boat launch along Ihema Lake in the evening. On this boat trip, you will see additional wildlife and birds along the lake’s beaches. After dinner, stay the night at the resort.
