Day 1: Arrival and drive to Sipi falls.

On your day 1 of 3 Days Mount Elgon Hiking Safari, arrive at Entebbe International Airport you will be picked by our safari guide who will brief you about the entire safari.

After embark to the route and be transferred to the Eastern Uganda, along the way you will have the magnificent sighting of the various attractions along the way like the various plantations of tea and sugarcane in Lugazi. And later have the lunch en-route in Jinja.

Then you will proceed with the way, which is one hours’ time from Iganga.Then after reaching you will check in at your lodge. And after you go to explore the magnificent Sipi falls, for the evening hike in Kapchorwa that are such beautiful where you will experience the cool breeze of nature in the three sipi falls. Where you will be passing coffee farms of Bagisu and Sebei with the endless views of Mount Elgon together with sighting wildlife.

After you meet with your safari guide that takes you back to your lodge for the relaxed dinner, and night sleep over.

Day 2: hiking Mountain Elgon.

On the day 2 of your 3 Days Mount Elgon Hiking Safari , you will wake up and be served with the breakfast and you will be given packed lunch and snacks, as this day is dedicated to one day hike. After you meet your guide and start the activity where you will be briefed about the trails to use.

Hiking Mount Elgon

Mountain Elgon hiking has got the trails that you can take including the Budadiri Forest exploration center, Kapkwai, Kapkwata that you choose that takes you to experience the spectacular mountain. This is the best hiking experience where you happen to witness the river that flows within Mount Elgon National Park. Encountering some primate species like black and white colobus monkeys, blue monkeys and various small antelopes, and viewing bird species like endangered lammergeier, Tacazze sunbird, eastern bronze-naped pigeon, Hartlaub’s turaco and among others.

After you meet with your safari guide and takes you back to the lodge where you relax, take the dinner and have a relaxed overnight stay.

Day 3: Jinja tour and Departure.

Wake up early in the morning you be served with the breakfast at your lodge, then check out the lodge and embark to your safari drive to Jinja where you will experience the source of Nile River, with activities including white water rafting, bungee jumping, boat cruise and others. This is where you will have the enroute lunch while sighting the source of River Nile. You will visit the famous Sezibwe falls that are believed to have born by the human beings. After you return back to Kampala where your Uganda safari guide will drop you at your place of convenience at your lodge or at Entebbe.
