3 days Uganda Safari to Kidepo Valley National Park : An adventurous and exciting 3 days Uganda safari will take you to some of the most remote and rated national parks in Uganda. One of the top 3 most rewarding and adventurous wildlife destinations in Africa, Kidepo Valley National Park is one of the most isolated and rated national parks in Uganda.
In the course of your 3 days Uganda safari to Kidepo Valley national park, you will do an early morning and evening game drive as well as visit manyatta communities of the Karamojong tribe in the national park.
While on your game drives, you will be able to come in contact with a number of wildlife species, both mammals and birds, such as four of the five big mammals, several species of antelope, a few primates, numerous predators, large and small mammals, such as Rothschild giraffes, Zebras, warthogs, as well as over 475 birds like the flightless Ostrich and about 56 raptors such as the tawny eagle, pygmy falcon, secretary bird, vultures and several others.
Day 1: Pick up and Drive to Kidepo valley National Park
In the morning this day, after having your early morning breakfast or upon your arrival at Entebbe international airport with your early morning arriving flight.
You will be met by a representative who will be your safari driver guide for the pickup, be briefed about your 3 days Uganda safari to Kidepo Valley National Park, and then start driving to Kidepo Valley National Park with a stop in Guru town en-route for refreshments and lunch, then check-in at your lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Game drive in Kidepo valley national park and Cultural walks to the Manyatta communities.
In the morning after you have had your breakfast, you will leave the lodge and go for a half-day game drive to discover the park and the animals that make it their home.
There are many animals that live in the Kidepo valley National Park, including elephants, Caped buffaloes, zebras, Rothschild giraffes, striped hyenas, and a number of other antelopes, including the shy Eland. There are several wildlife species to be found in the park, including the Lion, Leopard, Cheetah, Ardwolf, greater and lesser Kudu, Klipspringer, Dik-dik, Bright’s Gazelle, Chandler’s mountain reed buck, and many others.
There are many species of birds and mammals that you can observe on your drive if you follow your driver guide, which will make the trip so much more exciting. The first half of your day will consist of searching for wildlife in the jungle, then returning to the lodge to refresh yourself, have lunch, relax before visiting the Manyatta communities to meet the native Karamajong people, who will show you their cultural arts and crafts, daily activities such as farming and milking, as well as their cultural performances by the women’s groups.

Day 3: Morning game drive – Drive back to Entebbe international airport or Kampala city
After having a delicious breakfast with all your bags already in the vehicle, you will be able to check out and proceed to the game drives to look for mammals, primarily the big predators of the park such as leopards, lions, and cheetahs. Afterward, you will depart from the park back to the international airport at Entebbe or you may wish to spend another night in Kampala or Entebbe, and your 3-day Uganda Safari to Kidepo Valley National Park will come to an end when you leave the park.
