Day 1: Transfer to Murchison Falls.

On the first day of 5 Days Murchison Falls Delta Cruise & Chimpanzee Tour. Our driver will pick you up from your lodge at precisely 7 am depending on where you are in Kampala or at the airport. You will receive a briefing regarding your 5-day Murchison Falls and chimpanzee trekking safari.

After the briefing, you will leave for your tour of the Murchison Falls National Park, which lasts for about 5 to 6 hours. As you drive through the Luwero district, you can sample organic fruits including watermelons, pineapples, and oranges on the way.

 After the lovely contact with the locals and your stunning experience, you will travel to the Ziwa rhino sanctuary to track the critically endangered white rhino species. After your rhino tracking experience in the sanctuary, you’ll travel to Masindi town for lunch before continuing on to the stunning Murchison Falls National Park, where you’ll find a whole new world of beauty.

Day 2: Game Drive and Boat Cruise.

On the second day of 5 Days Murchison Falls Delta Cruise & Chimpanzee Tour. After a leisurely breakfast, you’ll be fetched up from your lodge to take part in an early game drive. The game drive will provide you with the most incredible experience as you see early risers like Jackson’s hartebeest, waterbucks, bushbucks, giraffes, lions, and leopards making their way to the plains to graze. After the game drive, you’ll head to your lodge to unwind, eat lunch, and prepare for the evening boat cruise.

After lunch, a member of our staff will pick you up from your hotel to take part in a boat cruise that will take you to the base of the falls, where you can see a variety of wildlife, including crocodiles, elephants, buffaloes, hippos, and Nile crocodiles, as well as water birds like kingfishers, herons, bee-eaters, and cormorants. After the thrilling journey is over, you’ll be transferred to your hotel where you can unwind while you wait for dinner and get ready for tomorrow’s adventure.

Day 3: Chimpanzee trekking in Budongo Forest.

 On day 3 of the 5-day Murchison Falls Delta Cruise & Chimpanzee Tour, an early breakfast will be served, and our guide will pick you up from your accommodation and take you to Budongo forest, which is the home of primates, along with your packed lunch. When you enter the forest, you will be greeted by the hoots of primates from the treetops, and you will see baboons and many species of monkeys, including black-and-white colobus monkeys.  The guide or ranger will give you a briefing on the activity of chimpanzee trekking when you arrive at the forest. After the briefing, get ready to be mesmerized by the beauty of the forest as you pass by various primate species. However, as you move on to the primates, you will spend time with them taking pictures, observing how they behave in the wild, their eating patterns, and other things. After your trip in the Budongo Forest is done, you will be driven back to your hotel, where you can unwind, eat dinner, and spend the night.

Day 4: Delta Experience

On day 4 of the 5-day Murchison Falls Delta Cruise & Chimpanzee Tour. After a leisurely breakfast at your hotel in the early morning, you will be transported by boat to the delta region, where you will have the most thrilling experience. You will have the chance to observe a variety of animals on the delta cruise, including elephants, hippos, zebras, and some endangered bird species, including the shoe-bill stork, which is the most sought-after bird species to visit Murchison Falls National Park.  The boat will provide stunning views of the water flowing into Lake Albert and anglers casting their lines. Tourists shouldn’t miss the cruise because it is so tranquil. You will return to your hotel for lunch after your delta cruise as you prepare for your afternoon game drive.

If you’re lucky, you’ll get to witness animals that hide during the day, such as leopards, hyenas, lions, and many others. You’ll also get to watch how they hunt for their food, which is typically grazing on the plains or taking a nap. You will return to your hotel for dinner and the night after your evening game drive.

Day 5: Transfer to Kampala.
