Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival and Drive to Kibale national park
As soon as you are picked up from either your hotel or the airport, you will be on your way to Kibale forest national park – about a six hour drive, which will take you approximately six hours to complete. As soon as you arrive at the lodge, you will be served late dinner, with a picturesque view of the forest, within the Kibale national park, upon your arrival. Dinner and overnight at your Lodge.

Day 2: Chimpanzee Trekking in Kibale N.P and Bigodi Swamp walk
After an early morning breakfast, you will be taken to the park headquarters where you will have a briefing on safety and tracking before departing for the park. Then, after you have been transferred to a starting point, you will be taken by vehicle to the forest, in order to begin your chimpanzee trek.

In the afternoon, you will return to your vehicle on the edge of the forest after this amazing wildlife experience, and then head to the primate lodge for lunch once you return to your vehicle. Visit the Bigodi swamp Swamp in the afternoon to see some birds and other primates that live in the swamp. Dinner and overnight at the lodge

Day 3: Drive to Bwindi impenetrable National park
Breakfast will be served early in the morning before we depart for Bwindi via Queen Elizabeth National Park on the way to the park which is always full of wildlife like elephants, buffalos, antelopes, warthogs, and other big game on the way.

In the afternoon, you can enjoy a leisurely lunch in Kihihi town or go for a walk to Kihihi’s busy market to get a taste of life there. The ultimate gorilla experience awaits you in Bwindi. Dinner and overnight at the lodge

Day 4: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi National Park
As soon as you have a good breakfast at your lodge, you will be driven by your guide to the park headquarters for a briefing on the gorilla trek that will take place in Bwindi impenetrable forest national park.

Having been briefed, you will then go on to look out for gorillas in their natural habitat in groups while you proceed into the forest.

As soon as you locate the gorillas in the forest, you will have an hour with them where you will be able to take photos and observe them before returning to the briefing point for your guide to meet you. Afternoon is at your leisure. Dinner and overnight at Bakiga Lodge

Day 5: Departure to Kampala
After breakfast, you will depart for Kampala in time for your flight in the afternoon.
