Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival and transfer to Ruhengere
On arrival at the Kigali Airport, you will be met by our safari guide who will transfer you to Volcanoes National Park . The journey to the North goes through the beautiful terraced hillsides that display Rwanda’s landscape. Dinner and Overnight at Muhavura for budget, la bambo hotel for mid range or mountain gorilla view lodge for luxury
Day 2: Gorilla trekking
After breakfast you will drive to the park headquarters of Parc National des Volcans. There you will be briefed by the ranger guides; with packed lunch you will then start the gorilla trekking through the light mountain forest on the slopes of the Virunga. You may have an optional of visiting ibyiwacu ex pocher,s village for cultural performance after tracking. Day 3: Golden monkey tracking

Day 4: Visit the Diana Fossey Grave
After breakfast at the Lodge, you will transfer to Karisoke where Dian Fossey, a woman who carried out Comprehensive research about Mountain Gorillas in Africa was burried. At the spot where she was burried, it’s also the same spot where she burried her friendly Gorilla which was called Digit. After the visit you will transfer back to your hotel. Day 5: Hike mt Bisoke/ Visoke and visit Crater Lake on the top
Leave the hotel very early in the morning after break fast at 0630hours to meet with your guide then drive to the park entrance where you will start your hike, hiking mountain Visoke/Bisoke takes 1-2hrs up and 1hr down depending on your fitness. Back to your hotel for lunch after.Dinner and overnight as above
Day 6: Visit twin lakes and boat ride.
Have morning break fast and proceed to visit twin lakes that is lake Ruhondo and Burera for a boat cruise, later you will be transferred to Kigali. Dinner and overnight at step town motel for budget or city blue hotel for mid range or Des mill Collins hotel for luxury.
Day 7: Kigali city tour and transfer to airport for your flights back home
Have morning break fast and go for kigali for city tour, you will visit places like the Genocide Memorial sites of Murambi, Local African markets, handcraft shops, shopping malls for simple shopping and many more. Later you will be transferred to the Airport for your flights back.
