Detailed Itinerary for 9 Days Wildlife Safari and White Water Rafting.

Day 01: Kampala –Drive to Bwindi

Early in the morning, check out and meet our driver guide in the parking. You will start the journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park via Kampala – Masaka – Mbarara highway. Drive through numerous hills over looking the bending roads, thesee are fine catchments to understand the way of life of Uganda the pearl of Africa. This drive shall include a stopover at the equator. After, we continue with the journey up to Bwindi south-western Uganda in the Kanungu District. Lunch is provided en route in Mbarara town.

Stay at Bwindi View Bandas/Buhoma Community Bandas (Budget), Gorilla mist camp/Wagtail Eco Lodge (Mid-range) and Mahogany Springs Lodge/Gorilla Safari Lodge, Silverback Lodge (Luxury)

Day 02: Gorilla Trek in Bwindi.

On this day, you will have a lifetime experience – meeting face to face with the species of Mountain Gorillas in the jungles of Bwindi.

Tourists are allowed to stay with the Gorillas in the Jungles for only one hour, later return to the lodge after great moments with the giants of the Jungles.

Day 03: Bwindi – Transfer to Queen Elizabeth

After Gorilla trekking in Bwindi, you will transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park via the southern Ishasha sector route. You will have a chance to sight the famous tree climbing lions resting up in fig tree branches. After continue to Queen, lunch is provided en route. When you arrive in the Park suburbs, you can do an evening game drive if time allows.

Accommodation options include Kazinga Channel Resort/ Simba Safari Camp (Budget), Bush lodge/Ihamba Safari lodge (Mid-range) and Mweya Safari lodge/ Jacana Safari Lodge (Luxury).

Day 04: Game Drive & Afternoon Kazinga Cruise.

In the morning, you will have a scenic game drive through the Kasenyi plains to spot abundant species of wild animals like big cats like leopards and lions, elephants, buffalos, bush bucks, hyenas and more. After game drive, you transfer straight to Mweya for your delicious lunch at the canteen.

Later in the afternoon, you will have an astounding boat cruise along the Kazinga channel to sight various aquatic species such as crocodiles, hippos and water bird species.

Day 05: Queen Elizabeth – Drive to Kibale

After sometime in Queen, you start the Journey to Kibale Forest National Park via paths that pass through rolling hills and terraced valleys.

You will arrive in the late afternoon or evening. Lunch is provided en route. If time allows, you can do the Bigodi walk.

Day 06: Chimpanzee Tracking in Kibale.

Chimpanzee tracking is one of the main reasons for all visitors to Kibale Forest National Park. The tracking experience usually lets you meet with these primates in the Jungles.

Before tracking, a briefing is first conducted to highlight trackers about the all excursion. After briefing, the Journey to the jungle starts. You are allowed for some time in their presence and later return to the lodge.

Day 07: Kibale to Murchison falls

In the morning, check out for transfer up to Murchison Falls in the North western part of Uganda. You will have lunch en route and after continue with the Journey to Murchison – enter the Park through the Kichumbanyobo gate. You can check in at the lodge for relaxation or be part of some activities like hiking up to the top of the falls, evening game drive.

Day 08: Game drive in Murchison – Drive to Jinja.

After morning breakfast, you will go for game driving to sight different Wildlife species Like Elephants, Buffaloes, Giraffes and more.

It starts at 7:00 am and lasts for about three to four hours. After this drive, check out and drive back to Kampala for an overnight stay.

Day 09: Jinja – Whitewater Rafting – Kampala

Early in the morning, drive from Kampala to Jinja for the adventurous White water rafting experience along the Nile.

This expedition starts in the morning till afternoon. After rafting, you start the journey back to Entebbe for your return flight back home.
