3 days Queen Elizabeth Uganda Safari : As a part of the 3 days Queen Elizabeth Uganda Safari, you will visit Uganda’s most visited National Park- Queen Elizabeth National Park, one of the largest parks in the country, which covers an area of 1,978 square km. It is located in Kampala’s western region, approximately 376 kilometres away from the capital.

In addition to the dazzling lakes, the kazinga channel, the extensive savannah, humid forests, and the lush wetlands of the region, the area is classified into a variety of ecosystems.

About 100 species of mammals inhabit the park, as well as around 606 species of birds. You will be able to observe large numbers of animals such as antelopes, crocodiles, hippos, elephants, buffaloes, among others, during game drives through the park, as well as during a boat cruise along the Kazinga channel which bisects the park.

As well as Climbing Lions, Chimpanzees, in the Kyambura Gorge and various birds and monkeys in the Maramagambo forest, the park is also home to climbing lions in the Ishasha Sector, and climbing lions in the Ishasha Sector.

Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park

You will be picked up from the hotel at 7:30 am by your guide who will brief you regarding the journey and you will embark on the 6-hour journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park. You will enjoy a morning breakfast at the hotel before being picked up by your guide from there.

In the course of your journey, you will have few stops at the Equator where you will be able to take enough pictures, and for lunch in Mbarara town at the Agip Motel.

Then, proceed to the park as you drive through the stunning landscape of open grasslands, Ankole log horned cattle, tea plantations and the Rift Valley Escarpment as well as several woodlands as you drive through the spectacular landscape.

In the late afternoon, you will reach the park and take a game drive on your way to your lodge. Have dinner and there spend an Overnight.

Day 2: Morning Game drive and afternoon Boat safari

You will enjoy a delicious cup of coffee/tea before you embark on an exciting game drive from one trail in the park to another, including the Kasenyi trail, to start the day with a bang!

Queen Elizabeth N.P Game Drives

As you walk along the Kasenyi trail, you will have an opportunity to see a wide variety of animals, such as water bucks, Uganda Kobs, elephants, buffaloes, lions and warthogs as well as various birds.

After the drive, go back and have breakfast and also lunch at your lodge.

During the afternoon, you will be able to take part in a boat safari for 2 hours that takes you through the Kazinga channel connecting Lake George with Lake Edward, during which time you will be able to observe a large variety of animals such as Hippos, Crocodiles, Buffaloes, Warthogs, Elephants, Kobs, and many more that can be seen on the boat as well as a variety of birds, including malachite kingfishers, pink backed pelicans, and others, that can be seen throughout the area.

Have Dinner and Overnight.

Day 3: Departure to Kampala

You will enjoy a heavy and delicious breakfast as a remembrance of the fantastic two days you have had. In the morning, you will be able to check out of the lodge, and you will be able to decide whether to have a primate walk in the park. In the afternoon, you will be dropped off at your hotel in Kampala where you will be able to enjoy your lunch, and also have a stopover at the Mpambire drum center where you can see how the locals make drums and also purchase some souvenirs from the shop. Later on, you will proceed to Kampala with your lunch, and be dropped off at your hotel in Kampala.
