This 10 Days Uganda Safari is a sure deal to discover the bush and wildlife experience in Uganda; all the action shall be in western Uganda among thick forests and wide Savannah grasslands filled with lots of wild animals. You will visit Murchison falls national park (Uganda’s largest wildlife reserve), move to Kibale national park (has the biggest number of primate species in Uganda) and Bwindi impenetrable forest – home to half of the remaining endangered mountain gorillas.

Detailed Itinerary for 10 Days Uganda Safari.
Day 1: Kampala – Murchison falls National Park.
After your breakfast, you will be picked from the hotel by your assigned tour guide who will transfer you to the park. Lunch en-route at Masindi and proceed to the park. On your arrival to the park, proceed to the top of the falls for a remarkable sight and sound of the Nile crushing where water squeezes it self 7 times through the chasm. Dinner and overnight stay at Sambiya River Safari Lodge, Red chilli or Paraa Safari Lodge for luxury accommodation.
Day 2: Game drive and Launch cruise.
A cup of hot coffee and leave for the morning game drive around the park ready to see the Uganda kob, giraffes, Leopards. Return back to the lodge for breakfast and rest. After lunch, you will go for a boat cruise on the Victoria Nile to the bottom of the falls expecting to see crocodiles, hippos, buffaloes and numerous bird species like kingfishers, rare shoe-bills among others. Dinner and overnight stay at either Sambiya River Safari Lodge, Red chilli or Paraa Safari Lodge.
Day 3: Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park.
Wake-up early in the morning and go for breakfast and depart for Kibale forest National Park. Lunch en-route in Fort Portal and proceed in the view of the Rwenzori Mountains. A guided nature walk in the Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary to see various bird species, butterflies and primates. Dinner and overnight stay Chimpnest lodge, Mountain of the moon hotel or any other similar hotel.
Day 4: Chimpanzee tracking and Transfer to Queen Elizabeth.
Enjoy your delicious breakfast and undertake chimpanzee tracking and other primates like the Red, Black and white colobus monkeys, Red-tailed monkeys plus a sight of some birds like the African pitas, Red-faced woodland warbler, Blue-headed sun-bird and many more. Later transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park after lunch. Go for an evening game drive around the park for a variety of wildlife species like lions, elephants, baffolos and many more. Overnight stay at Mweya Safari Lodge / Enganzi Lodge.
Day 5: Nature walk and Boat cruise.
Breakfast and visit the Maramagambo forest hoping to see different bird species, chimpanzee, other primates and the python caves. After lunch head for a boat ride along the Kazinga channel expecting to see crocodiles, hippos, buffaloes, Topis, birds like Corncrake, African skimmer, Marital eagle among others. Overnight stay at Mweya Safari Lodge / Enganzi Lodge.
Day 6: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park.
After breakfast, you will transfer to Bwindi through Ishasha to view the tree-climbing Lions. Lunch at Ishasha wilderness Camp; visit the Ishasha River for bushbucks, hippos, crocodile and the green vegetation. Dinner and overnight stay at either Buhoma Homesteads or Gorilla Forest camp.
Day 7: Gorilla tracking and Cultural tour.
After breakfast at the lodge, you will go to the park headquarters for briefing from the Uganda Wildlife Authority ranger guides. After the briefing, the ranger will lead you into the thick impenetrable forest to start your search for the endangered rare species of mountain gorillas. The gorilla search always continues from the place where they were last seen the previous day. Upon reaching the area where these famous species are, you will only be allowed to interact with them for only one hour and you should always keep maximum silence while with these gorillas.
After tracking, you will return late to the lodge for refreshment, in the evening go for cultural entertainment from Batwa/pygimns. Dinner and overnight at either Buhoma homesteads or silver back lodge for luxury accommodation.
Day 8: Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park.
Breakfast and drive to Lake Mburo National Park through the gorgeous scenery of Kabale. Go for a boat ride after lunch expecting to see Impalas, zebra, crocodiles, Eland among other savanna species. Dinner and overnight stay at either Mantana Tented Camp, Rwonyo Rest Camp or Mihingo lodge.
Day 9: Morning Game drive and Transfer to Kampala.
Take a cup of coffee and leave for the morning game drive to see animals like zebras, Buffaloes, Impalas, Topis, Warthogs and different bird species. Proceed with your journey to Kampala and you may a stopover at the equator for photography. Dinner and overnight stay at either Serena Hotel, Tourist Hotel or Cassia lodge or minister,s village hotel.
Day 10: Kampala city tour and transfer to Airport.
After your breakfast, you will go for city tour and visit places like Kasubi tombs, Uganda martyrs shrine, Bahai temple, Uganda museum and many others. You will later be transferred to airport for your flight back home.
