Day 1: City tour & Transfer to Bwindi impenetrable forest
You will be picked from your hotel in Kigali at 8:30am and go for a city tour visiting Kimironko market and the genocide memorial site.
Have lunch and transfer to Bwindi impenetrable forest national park through Katuna boarder arriving in the evening. Dinner and overnight at Ichumbi Gorilla Lodge.
Day 2: Gorilla Trekking Bwindi & Transfer to Musanze
You will enjoy early morning breakfast and transfer to the park headquarters with your packed lunch and bottled drinking water for briefing by the park ranger guides at 7:00am. After briefing, you will start your gorilla trekking journey accompanied by the ranger guides in search of the mountain gorillas; this takes 2 to 8 hours depending on the movement of the gorillas.
After the trek, you will enjoy your lunch packs and transfer to Musanze through Cyanika boarder arriving in the evening. Dinner and overnight at Le Bambou Gorilla Lodge.
Day 3: Golden Monkey Trekking & Transfer to Kigali
Breakfast will be served early and drive back to the park headquarters for briefing and Golden Monkey trekking. The procedure is the same as Gorilla trekking but lasts only 3 to 5 hours and return to the lodge to freshen up and transfer back to Kigali and proceed to the airport for your onward flight.
