Our Uganda 6 days wildlife and chimpanzee trekking safari, lets you visit some of the prominent parks in the western part of Uganda including Murchison Falls, Kibale Forest National Park known for Chimpanzees and Queen Elizabeth National Park.

Detailed Itinerary for 6 Days Wildlife and Chimpanzee Trekking.

Day 01: Kampala – Murchison Falls National Park.

You will travel from Kampala to the great Murchison Falls National Park in the north western part of Uganda. This drive via Kampala – Masindi – Gulu highway takes about 5-6 hours.

Includes stopover in Nakasongola for Rhino tracking, after continue to the Park. Check in at Bwana Tembo Safari Lodge (Budget), Sambiya River Lodge (Mid-range) and Paraa Safari Lodge (Luxury)

Day 02: Murchison Falls National Park (Game Drive & Boat Cruise).

You will do a morning game drive in search of different Wild animals like elephants, buffaloes, giraffes and more. This lasts for about 2-3 hours, after return to the lodge for lunch.

After lunch, you will do a boat cruise from the top to the bottom of the falls. From boat, you will sight varied aquatic species such as hippos, crocodiles, and water birds.

Day 03: Drive to Kibale Forest National Park

Enjoy your breakfast in the morning. After you will check out to start the journey to Kibale Forest National Park via Masindi – Hoima route. This path offers panoramic views of the Albertine Rift.

Includes stopover in Fort portal town for lunch and after go further up to Kibale. Check in at Chimps Nest (budget), Mountains of the moon (Mid-range) and Kyaninga Lodge (Luxury)

Day 04: Chimpanzee tracking in Kibale – Drive to Queen.

You will do a morning chimpanzee tracking session, early in the morning be at Kanywanchu tourism centre for the briefing conducted. After the journey to the jungle start in a group searching for these primates.

While in the Jungle, you are exposed to other primates like baboons, vervets, colobus monkeys but the stars of the day are the chimps. After locating, you are allowed for some time while seeing them playing, feeding and more.

Later return to the lodge to have lunch. After lunch, check out to visit Queen Elizabeth National Park.

On arrival check in at Simba Safari Camp (Budget), Enganzi Lodge (Mid-range) and Mweya Safari Lodge (Luxury)

Day 05: Game drive & Boat Cruise

You will start the day with a morning game drive in the Kasenyi plains. After this 2-3 hours excursion, your driver will drive to Mweya peninsula to have launch at Mweya canteen.

In the afternoon, you will do a boat along the waters of Kazinga Channel. Accommodation at Simba Safari Camp (Budget), Enganzi Lodge (Mid-range) and Mweya Safari Lodge (Luxury)

Day 06: From Queen Elizabeth – Drive to Kampala.

Say bye bye to Queen, you will start the Journey back to Kampala including stopover in Mbarara. After continue to Entebbe for your return flight.
